Crap open a cold one!
That trope where someone overhears part of a conversation or something similar, and jumps to wild conclusions resulting in the end of a friendship or relationship. All they have to do is directly and clearly communicate like functional adults, but instead everyone on sitcoms and the like have the maturity of 12 year olds.
