Show notes - Episode 177: Life Goes Macho

Hey, pals!

We're back to normal this week with all of my usual ramblings and a sweet tune from new friends. Stay warm and let's have some fun! Woooo!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat rambles on what he's missed (2:17), Macho Man Randy Savage (6:40), what's new in entertainment (11:20), and plays a tune from Write Home (15:35). Plus the 2019 Baseball Hall of Fame class (22:19), Super Bowl LIII (25:57), and an update from The Captain (30:15)!

A week from the norm means having to do an extra take just for fun, right? I don't know, but if you hear any weird noise in this one - my bad. Thanks to Michele, Carl, and Charlie for providing wonderful feedback for me to ramble on at the top. I love when youse guyses get involved, so keep the answers coming!

Speaking of (and I guess directly to right now) Carl, congratulations on winning the Royal Rumble game! I'm sorry I tricked you, but everyone does love the Macho Man - OOHH YEAHHH! Which reminds me: I once made a reference to Macho in a college paper. This is completely real and I got an A:

Thanks so much to our new friends, Write Home, for giving us the all clear to play a sweet tune! Go get their debut EP and have some fun! Also thanks to jae (@hyqnotised) for the suggestion!

So we didn't get a full ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame, but we did finally have someone earn all of the votes! Congratulations to Mariano Rivera, Edgar Martinez, Mike Mussina, and the late Roy Halladay on being elected! Yeah, baseball!

And even though I got the matchup completely wrong, I am still looking forward to the Super Bowl. The game should be a lot of fun. And even if it isn't, we can look forward to some funny commercials and HALFTIME HEAT. So get your fried stuff with cheese and do the thing!

That's that, my friends - I hope you are staying warm and dry, and enjoying your new Kingdom Hearts game. Until next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
