Show notes - Episode 282: Now We Have New Questions

Morning, friends!

We started with a bummer, but tossed in some fun stuff along the way to help with that - plus we spun a new tune from old friends. Let's go!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat remembers Alex Trebek (2:14), rambles on democracy in the park (8:34), and shares your best ragequit stories (18:08). Plus the latest tune from Last Night Saved My Life (27:09), Bills at Cardinals for NFL Week 10 (31:42), and a bunch of MLB notes (35:10)!

🏞

Alex Trebek

If you haven't already I highly recommend you read Alex's book, The Answer Is...Reflections on My Life (which you can get here). It is quite wonderful. I have no idea who will take the helm of the show, but for now I will enjoy these last few episodes with the king. What is...this stinks on ice?

Calling in the park

I wish I could better describe to you both how wonderful the park looked and how neat it was to see everyone share in a moment of joy. Being there to hear the election called almost made up for not finding The Blair Witch.

Ragequit moments

I enjoyed all of these answers. so thanks to everyone who participated. Also right after I recorded, Josh and I streamed Among Us and people definitely quit when we were close to figuring out that they were the bad guys. For shame!

Last Night Saved My Life

Many thanks also to our friends for their tune, Caffeine Company - check out the music video below!

NFL Week 10: Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals

Could I have gone a bit deeper into the actual game for this week? Of course, but that would have required research. What you need to know is these two teams are good and this game should be a fun one.

MLB notes

AJ Hinch and Alex Cora are managers again. So is Tony La Russa (for now), and he's legit if you didn't know. Also Jeff Luhnow is suing the Astros because he thinks they conspired with the league to get out of paying him. HOTSTOVE!

And that's that, pals! We did the thing! Thanks for joining me, as always, and I sincerely appreciate the feedback on all of these bonus episodes. Until the next time you check back in, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
