Show notes - Episode 313: 25 Years of Stimulation

Morning, friends!

We packed a lot in today so let's just get right to it!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat rambles on stimulus checks (2:03), vaccines (5:28), missing old domiciles (9:29), and house upgrades (13:13). Plus Pokémon 25 (18:33), new music from The Nearly Deads (26:53), and some sports notes (30:17), before an Update from The Captain (35:29)!

I don't know when the checks are coming, but I hope you can put yours to good use. In all honesty, we should have gotten quite a few more of them. But here in MURICA, that just doesn't work for some reason. (Greed. Greed is the reason.)

I am happy to see all of you getting your Fauci Ouchie. I am not on the list yet, but I'm also neither elderly nor "at risk" so I can wait my turn. Do you think I can work from home as long as I'm not vaccinated?

House stuff

I don't recall who asked the apartment question, but thank you. I do miss being in that spot sometimes. But having a landlord who actually cares about what's happening at the house is so wonderful.

Pokémon 25

If I could play one game over again for the first time, Pokémon Blue would be it. I still enjoy it to this day, but the excitement of not knowing what was coming isn't there anymore. And that feeling, while tough to describe, is wonderful. Happy birthday, Pocket Monsters!

The Nearly Deads

Thanks to our pals, The Nearly Deads for their latest tune! If I hadn't recorded the show on my lunch break, I would have a capella'ed (is that the right way to write that?) the *coin* outta the guitar riff. Next time! Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify, and Twitch! Get Punk Rock Kitty Cat here!

Sports stuff

It's a bad idea for the Rangers to allow full capacity next month, but the news is not shocking. We can get out of this, but dumb *coin* like this will only push everyone back. In better news, we may hear the return of the sick NHL on ESPN theme next season. See? I'm not all gloom and doom! (Also: thanks, Captain!)

And that's that, my friends! Next week we may have an interview. And if not? Well then I have no idea. Either way, until then don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
