Show notes - Episode 423: Thank the Weird Bosses at Netflix

Morning, friends!

Back to just me again this week, but of course my thanks to Double Identity for joining me - and to you for listening. We played music from old friends, ranted and rambled, and tried to help Netflix. Let's go!

Many thanks to our friends for the tune! Get Every Flower here and follow them on Instagram here!

Ignoring policy

I know this happens at your job, so let me know how you handle it. You don't have to get specific about your job if you don't want to, but I'd like to know how your bosses - past and present - undermined you and company policy to placate a whiner.

Thank you notes

I found my old hard drive, but I could not find the video we made of Jen's rant. Pour one out for another gem lost in the ether. And don't be weird about not receiving a card.

People are weird

Man, I swear COVID really did a number on our social skills. Not having to interact with people for a period of time made us forget how to do it. Acknowledge when people are in your space. And Door Dash or GrubHub people: Can you see when you've been tipped in the app before you deliver the order? Or was this guy trying to double up (or was he just weird)?

Netflix ending DVD mailing

I figured this would happen at some point. It won't directly affect me, but I am sad for people who are losing a key service. I also really want to know what's going to happen with all of those discs. Don't just throw them in the ocean!

📀

And that, as they say, is that! Thanks to our friends for the tune and to you for joining me. Come on back next time for the fun and another tune, and keep an eye out for the survey. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
