I try to keep this show light whenever I can, but when a truly terrible candidate (and person) manages to win another election? Well, I'll just let you know that the first part of this episode is uncensored. Let's get to it!
Pat shares more uncensored election thoughts (2:36), an entitled customer story (19:08), QR code menus (28:42), a Flyers Update from The Captain (39:59), and more.

Election 2024
I did not mention one issue during this segment, but it is very important to me. Republicans still want to gut healthcare for pre-existing conditions, which means people with disabilities (like me) could be screwed. So add that to the list of reasons why I no longer wish to associate with you if you supported the GOP this year. This is not about policies, this is about people. And if you can't understand why you should care about others then you're too stupid and/or too much of a jerk to be in my community. Full stop.
Customer entitlement
Jill told me this story the other day so I hope I did not miss any details. But this idea that customers can be rude while asking for more than they can get is insane. Sometimes restaurants run out of items. Sometimes they can't prepare your food exactly how you want it. There is no justification for being a dickhead about it.
Fan mail: QR code menus?
Thank you, Jimmy from Mayfair, for the question. I have no issue with the concept of QR codes for restaurant menus, really. But if I'm inside the building and at a table? Bring me the damn menu. Also if your mall hours change so frequently that you need to direct customers to a website about them? Figure yourself out over there!
Flyers
Thank you, Captain! I knew you wouldn't let us down, even if the Flyers continue to do just that. I think it was good he was able to join us this week. We needed some good energy after my angry brain dump at the beginning.
And one more thing
I just want to say again: If you're really down about the election and you need a pair of ears to vent to about it, mine are available. You can send me a message by clicking here. You can also call or text 209-867-7638. Or you can send an email to me by clicking here. I don't know how much I can help, but if you just need someone to listen? I'm here for that.
And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for sticking with me these past couple of episodes. I know times are tough, but I will try to get back to more fun (and music) next week. Until then, take care of each other and don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
