Well, we're on the move again and I hope the show sounds okay to you. Today we answered some mail and talked about people getting hoodwinked. Let's get to it!

Pat rambles on switching rooms (2:08), holiday food markups (9:56), and reads fan mail on free labor (15:00), before sharing books we’d swear in on (22:19), and a Flyers Update from The Captain (31:36).

Switching rooms
So here we are in the middle of the basement again. We decided it would be best for me to just stay out here until we move (hopefully next year). I do have curtains up now and another one on the way, so I think we'll have some better sound next week. I'm doing my best over here!
Holiday markups
If you're going to go out on a holiday, please know that you will be overcharged for the "experience" of that. If you have the money? Great! Enjoy yourself! But don't post the receipt to brag about it, because we all know you got swindled on the price of some substandard food.
Free labor
Thank you to the fine fan who wrote this one in for us. People: Don't work somewhere for a whole week unless you will be paid for that labor. Corporations: Don't expect people to work for no money. You will make money from their work, so they deserve to be paid for it. I cannot believe I had to type that sentence.
Swearing in on books
Thanks to everyone who answered the question this week! We had a clear winner (The Constitution), but I think my favorite answer was "a blank piece of paper." Because if we're being real? Who gives a shit? Just do the work that the people elected you to do. And don't be a dickhead about it.
📕
And that, as we say, is that! Thank you for joining me once again. I'll try to make it sound better next week (and I'll have a sweet tune for you) so come on back! Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
