Show notes - Episode 354: Singing on Lit Mountains

Merry Christmas, my friends!

I cannot express how happy I am that I get to release an episode today. This is my favorite show to do every year and at long last it is out on the big day. I hope you are well and that you enjoy what we have for you. Let's go!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat tells his favorite retail story (3:54), recaps our favorite Christmas episode of The Office (16:08), shares our Mount Rushmore of Christmas songsters (31:56), and more. Plus festive tunes from Point North (10:27), Hana Kahn (28:05), BRONNIE (42:41), and MUCH BETTER (52:44)!

👵

Retail: Light Bulb Lady

First: When I said I wouldn't check for Amy's response, I didn't mean at all. I meant I wouldn't check during the show, since it was already too late to have her on today. Second: Wherever you are, light bulb lady, I sincerely hope you are well and that no one else recommends you go to Home Depot.

The Office - Christmas Party (S2E10)

Thank you to everyone who submitted their choice for favorite Christmas episode of The Office. I am very happy that it worked out to be the first one, so I can recap the rest in order over the next few Christmases. If I'm still here doing the thing after that, I guess we'll pick another show. And hey, does anyone know what line of work Bob Vance is in?

Christmas songster Mt. Rushmore

Also thank you to everyone who shared their favorite Christmas songsters. I am very happy that we were able to have the tie broken before today so there is a definitive list. I do not have time to make the image but if someone wants to put Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Burl Ives, and Nat King Cole on the mount, please tag me wherever you post it. Also here is a gif of a Brogue Kick, for reference:

Linus

Even though Linus tried to steal the object of Charlie Brown's affection on New Year's Eve, we can still appreciate and enjoy his wholesome Christmas message. Peace on Earth and whatnot!

Holiday tunes

As always, thanks to our friends for their holiday tunes! Click to find more from them - Point North, Hana Kahn, BRONNIE, and MUCH BETTER!

🎄

And that's that, my friends! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! Come back next week to celebrate the new year. Will it be a clip show? Probably not! But until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
