Morning, friends!

Today we shared some news, updated a patpeeve, played a tune from shallow pools, and more. Let's do the thing!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat shares some big news (2:34), rambles on COVID wedding (6:47), and updates the WWE vs. Twitch patpeeve (9:32). Plus new music from shallow pools (19:00), World Series talk (23:36), and Steelers at Titans for NFL Week 7 (29:04)!

News

If you missed the video, there's your update on what's up over here. We are joining the parent club in May. It is exciting and wonderful and super terrifying - gonna be great!

Wedding

Best wishes to Miriam and Dave on their married people stuff! I am impressed they pulled it off *in these strange times* but I was happy to be part of it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be ignoring everyone for another week.

WWE vs. Twitch Update

I realize this news is a few weeks old, but how wacky is it that a company can do this to supposed independent contractors? Bixby, if you're still out there, I need your legal expertise on this. (I think as unofficial legal counsel of the show, he has to accept.)

Thanks to our friends for the tune! I know I'm months late with this one, but I was saving it for when they could return to the show. Until then, here's the music video:

World Series

The Dodgers took a 2-1 series lead last night behind Walker Buehler and the bats. Game 3 is tonight so let's hope the Rays can figure out Julio Urias and make this series go as long as possible. Also Mookie Betts got us all free tacos!

NFL Week 7: Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

One team is undefeated. The other came roaring back from a COVID-19 outbreak. I love what Derrick Henry has been doing, so give me the Titans at home. With how both teams have played. this game should be a lot of fun.

🏈

And that's that, pals! Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are having fun doing whatever it is that you're up to, and that you come back next week for Halloween fun. Let me know what kind of episode I should do below, and until then don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
