I tried a bit of a different setup this week and realized too late that it wasn't a good idea. See? I am still learning after all these years. Let's have some fun!

Show notes - Episode 408: Bothered by the People
Morning, friends!
This post-holiday edition is a bit scatterbrained but I think we made it out okay. At the very least, I put all of the segments in the correct order. So press play and let's go!

Show notes - Episode 333: Shots Over Madison
Morning, friends!
Today's show features a song I hadn't heard, two patpeeves (kinda), and an admission of hypocrisy. Doesn't that sound fun? (No? Wow, rude.) Let's go!

Show notes - Episode 332: Bookend Celebrations
Morning, friends!
Today's episode had a bit of everything: celebrations, a patpeeve [or two?], a sweet tune, and a sports take that already hasn't aged well. We really are back to normal - let's go!

Show notes - Episode 261: Riding Switch to Stay on Twitch
Morning, friends!
Full disclosure: I forgot I had to do this until after the show was done, and I haven't had real breakfast yet, so there won't be much here. Also I cut out a segment because it didn't sound great - I hope that's not too obvious. In any case, here we go!

Show notes - Episode 244: Google My Terms of Service
Morning, friends!
We had a change of plans, so today you get just me rambling about stuff. I don't know why I sounded weird here (though it was quite warm in the studio last night) but I'll try to fix that for next time. I did some complaining, talked about TV, and did other stuff! Yeah!

Maybe I'm Old: A Curmudgeon Collection
Hey, friends!
I don't have a question this week, so I wanted to present you with some words instead. I first thought it would be a problem that I couldn't think of one topic, but then I decided to just lump together a few things that bug me and toss them out all at once. Here we go!

We Need to Talk: Fake Baseball Jerseys
Hey, friends!
Full disclosure: this post was supposed to be up on Monday, but I was a bit over the weather on Sunday so I could not write it then. But that did give me time to gather some information so it worked out okay [I hope].
Today I want to talk about baseball jerseys that are clearly fake - like in the picture below. This is an issue that has plagued my mind for at least a decade, so it could get a bit silly. I'll do this at the end too, but thanks to everyone who weighed in on this topic so it became more than me yelling as I type. Here we go!
(Answers have been edited for clarity and length.)

Show notes - Episode 230: A Taste of the Truth
Morning, friends!
This week I did not move the microphone from its usual spot, but I was quite nasally - your ears can't win I guess. We did some yelling about serious and not-so-serious stuff today, but I played a sweet tune from new pals so it's...all good? Yeah, we'll go with that. Here's the stuff!

Show notes - Episode 225: Allergy Blackouts and Cheese
Hey, friends!
I realize that I rambled a lot to begin the show, and fortunately or unfortunately that really set the tone this week. But you for sure get a break with the Birthday Boy tune and maybe two good dudes doing sports things, so that's a plus! Let's get to the stuff!

The Melting Pat Episode 220: Dry Your Hands for a Clappy Thanksgiving
Morning friends, and Happy Thanksgiving!
I totally meant to do this episode live last night, but YouTube decided to change their stuff and require some kind of download, so I guess next year I'll have to try Twitch or something. Anywho, here's what Jill and I did for your listening pleasure. If I don't take too long, you should be able to finish this before the first football game! Yeah!

Now let's get it on!

Show notes - Episode 195: Quit Knocking and Go Find Some Friends
Morning, friends!
We did a lot today, even after my big edit, and I think this may have been the longest I went before "officially" starting the episode. I'll try to do better on that front - maybe. I am of course short on time, so let's get to it!
