October brings new seasons of four highly-anticipated Amazon Original Series and two Original Movies available exclusively for Prime members to stream or download at no additional cost to their membership:
· Inside Edge S1: The first launched Indian Amazon Original Series which combines the worlds of cricket and entertainment in a 10-episode series. Inside Edge will be available in UHD on compatible HDR devices. (10/9/17)
· City of Ghosts: The Amazon Original Documentary directed by Matthew Heineman, follows the efforts of anonymous activists who have banded together after their homeland is taken over by ISIS as they face the realities of life undercover and on the run. (10/13/17)
· Lore S1: The Amazon Original Series based on the popular podcast of the same name, is an unscripted horror anthology series dealing with scary and often paranormal true events that have spawned modern-day nightmares. Lore will be available in UHD on compatible HDR devices. (10/13/17)
· Sigmund and the Sea Monsters S1: The Amazon Original live-action Series based on the classic Saturday morning 1970s television show, focuses on two brothers befriending Sigmund, a friendly sea-monster, as they help him hide from a monster hunter. Sigmund and the Sea Monsters will be available in SD and UHD on compatible HDR devices. (10/13/17)
· Red Oaks S3: The Amazon Original Series set in the 1980s, concludes the stories of aspiring young filmmaker David Meyers and the colorful characters he’s met on his journey to adulthood. Red Oaks will be available in UHD on compatible HDR devices. (10/20/17)
· The Wall: The Amazon Original Movie starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena, follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. (10/20/17)
In addition to Amazon Original Series, licensed TV series coming to Prime Video next month include season six of the thriller series American Horror Story and season five of the period drama series The Americans. Additionally, sci-fi fans can catch supernatural drifts with films like Arrival (Amy Adams) and Blair Witch (Callie Hernandez) or celebrate the 30th anniversary of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, along with checking out blockbuster hits like Megan Leavey (Kate Mara) and Clueless (Alicia Silverstone) on Prime Video.
Next month through Amazon Channels, Prime members subscribed to PBS Masterpiece can enjoy season three of the British-American drama series Poldark or dive back into The Durrells in Corfu with season two.
