Question of the Week: 9/14/18

Morning, friends!

We're posting a special episode this week, so the question will naturally deal with that. Leave your answers in the comments [bonus points for explanations of the show/your fandom] and let's have some fun - deadline is Wednesday September 12 at 5PM EDT!

Do it up!

Which short-lived show (3 seasons or fewer) is your favorite?

  1. Better Off Ted, a satirical look at the R&D department in a corporate environment at a soulless conglomerate. Often breaks the 4th wall, pokes fun at typical sitcom troupes, and has absurd/impossible lab creations that often end with dark humor. It deserved better.

  2. Firefly (a given)
    666 Park Avenue
    Terra Nova
    Alcatraz

  3. I probably wouldn't have thought of it if you didn't have your picture there, but Freaks and Geeks is a good one. Others on my list:

    Firefly
    Pushing Daisies
    Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Recently there was a show called Trial & Error on NBC. I never watched the first season, but I really liked the second. It didn't get renewed. They could still be picked up by someone else, though.

There are probably way more shows. 3 seasons is actually a lot.
