Show notes - Episode 335: Burning Valuable Movies

Morning, friends!

Today's episode starts off a bit differently, but I think we still hit all of the high notes: movies on TV, unprofessional interviewers, weird shoppers, and more - plus a new tune from High Street. Let's go!

After playing the latest song from High Street (3:53), Pat rambles about movies on TV (9:35) and what could be next for Arthur on PBS (17:35). Plus a heated job interview (22:30), a fiery retail story (28:54), and more!

High Street

Thanks to our new friends for the tune! High Street appears courtesy of TREND PR, and I hope their other songs also have guitar riffs for me to sing on the show. Follow the band on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Spotify - and tell them I sent you! (Or not, it's all good.)

Movies on TV

Thanks to Tom for the suggestion, and to everyone who answered this week's question. Who knew I hadn't seen so many popular movies? It's me. I knew.

Arthur on PBS

It's a bummer that Arthur is canceled, but at least there may be more along the way. Though I do hope they don't take my gritty reboot suggestion seriously.

"My time is valuable"

I'm not sure how I just unlocked this from my memory bank, but eff this guy for real. If you're interviewing someone for a job, I'd think you would want that person to be comfortable if both of you choose to go that route. Acting high and mighty right off the bat does not accomplish this. I really hope that guy has a different job now.

Burning passion

I did reach out to Amy and Donna to find out if they were working the day this guy lit up in the store. Neither one of them was sure, but maybe if they listen it will jog their memory. We got some weirdos in there for sure!

🕯

And that's that, pals! Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are well and staying cool and dry wherever you are. Next week I have an anecdote from when I was waiting outside daycare, so come back and learn about that and whatever else tumbles out of my brain. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
