Show notes - Episode 377: Planning Snacks and Slaps

Morning, friends!

Patrons get a Britney Spears bonus today and the rest of you get a tune from RAVIVE, a breaking Phillies update, team snacks, and more. Let's go!

Pat plays new music from RAVIVE (2:56), then rambles on team snacks (7:00), new Memorial Day plans (14:11), fantasy football slaps (19:28), the NL East (25:38), and more.

Many thanks to RAVIVE for the tune! Stream her EP, Trauma Response, on Spotify right here and click these words to listen to our chat from last year! Woooo!

Team snacks

Thank you also to everyone who weighed in on the question this week. I didn't make a point to really rank them, but I did pick a winner from the answers we got.

New holiday plans

If I had known about this party ahead of time, the story on today's show would have been about our hotel stay. Instead we did some shopping and I came up with a new holiday plan. If you have a favorite place to stay (that's near to us), let me know!

The Other Slap

I love this story. Tommy Pham slapping Joc Pederson. Joc then sharing way more details about this than anyone expected. Mike Trout got name-dropped. Utterly ridiculous and I am here for all of it!

The NL East

It's not good, friends. Thankfully most everyone else in the division also kinda sucks so it doesn't feel as bad. But the Mets are the cream of the crop at the moment and the Phillies have an interim manager so it's going great over here! By the way, check out good friend of the show Matt Ibanez on his Mets podcast here!

John Madden cover

It was announced this week that the late John Madden will once again grace the cover of the game. Here is what the cover will look like. The next edition of Madden is due out in August.

And that's that, pals! Thanks for joining me this week. I hope you are well and that you have all of the fun. Next week the show drops on my birthday. I have notes written but if you'd like me to do anything special, let me know by tomorrow. I know I said Wednesday on the show, but my schedule is packed next week so I have to record on Monday. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
