A bit of a different feel for the annual Halloween show, but I like how this one came out in the end. Halloween tunes, birthday parties, music from old friends, and more!
Pat explains the legend of Jimmy (4:10), then rambles on birthday parties (7:25), scary movies (12:29), and the best parts of Halloween (35:21). Plus: music from MUCH BETTER (50:04), MLB playoffs (51:56), and a Flyers Update from The Captain (1:01:46).

Jimmy from Mayfair
This may have been giving away the game a little, but it's a fun little story so I figured it couldn't hurt. I do wonder: If I see that neighbor again, should I come clean?
Up top to Joel (or his Mrs.?) for inviting us to the thing! We all had a great time and I'm still thinking about how my entire home could fit in that side yard with plenty of room to spare. Man.
Our favorite scary movies
This was so much fun and now I can't wait to read about your favorite holiday movies. This whole "playing movie scores" gimmick (while a bit of a risk) has been so much fun. I hope we can find more ways to incorporate sweet tunes.
Best of Halloween
I love questions like these because it gives everyone a chance to stop and think about some positive stuff for a moment. Thanks for weighing in and enjoy your time on Tuesday!
Or should we say MUCH POCUS? Thanks to our friends, as always, for the festive tune. Check them out here and tell them you want new music for me to play on the show!
Should the Phillies be playing in the World Series? Of course they should. They had the talent to get it done, but they didn't. Steaming about it helps no one. But you can read my breakdown of the 2023 team here. In the meanwhile (is that anything?), the Rangers and Diamondbacks should have a great series. Both of these teams are fun to watch and you shouldn't let their places in the markets determine whether or not you watch. Either way, a long drought ends soon!
Many thanks to The Captain for bringing the show back after some bummed out Phillies talk. The Fly Guys are getting it done for us so far!
And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for doing all of the things. Enjoy your festivities and until next week, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
