I had an interesting dream last night

Morning, friends!

So I was on a TV show, or at least I think that was the deal. It was unclear what our job was in the universe of the show, but two people were from a different place and the big wigs did not trust them.

I used to work with these newcomers, so I was brought in for questioning. The two alleged rogues were played by Billy Gardell and Shane Kippel.

I go into this office and the person in charge is not an actor, but my actual manager at my real-life job. They start pressing me for information, heavily insinuating that I know about some sort of twisted plot. The room is very bright and terribly warm. I explain that I have no inside information, I just know that the two men are good at what they do (still unclear on what it is we all do here).

The boss says: "Okay well, if your memory gets refreshed you know where to find me." Then they slid a candy cane across the desk like it was a bribe. I don't even like candy canes.

I go back out to my desk, clearly flustered. Billy and Shane are waiting for me and they ask what went down - and if I took the candy cane. I told them and they were relieved for a moment, but still a bit on edge. Again, I do not know what our job is, so I cannot say how anyone could be suspicious.

The other weird part of this: Every other person on the show was a real-life colleague of mine. And they had just as many questions as the boss did. This made me very uncomfortable.

Oh, there was one other actor here. The security guard was played by Thomas Lennon. He kept trying to give me sticks of gum he found in packs of baseball cards. Each time I politely declined, he shrugged and put the stick in his mouth instead.

Then my son made noise so I woke up and went to check on him, so that was that. Will tomorrow's sleep bring another episode? Probably not, but I'll let you know!
