It has been a tough week in entertainment. I don't have a ton to say that many others already haven't, so I will again simply send my well-wishes to the families and fans of these three wonderfully talented people.
Theory on Taylor Swift opinions
Courtney, I cannot wait to have a deeper discussion about this when you return to the show. But for now: How funny is it that NFL fans get SO mad when Taylor shows up on screen? If she is distracting you in her one-minute total screen time, that is a you problem. And it may, in fact, say a lot about your personality.
Dungeon Crawler Carl
Thank you to Meg and Kyle for jumping in with both feet here. I want to take more time with this project, so I will hold off until at least next week. This series seems like it is right up my alley, though!
New car spy tech
Thanks to Court Lee for these last two topics. I can understand the usefulness of your car monitoring whether you're looking at the road or not, because we should all be safe. My concern, as usual, is which techno dork has access to that and how much can they do with it. We live in a time when these rich lizard-people want to suck us dry of our money, so giving them another avenue for that doesn't sit well with me.
Optimal donut shapes
I must admit that I'm not a big donut guy, but this was fun. To recap: If you're getting any kind of filling, a long donut is best. But for classic, unfilled donuts? The round guy works just fine. What say you?
