Show notes - Episode 604: Maybe We Fix the Silence Instead

Morning, friends!

It feels great to be back recording timely episodes with you. Today we got real (by request), played a farewell tune, and more! Let's do this!

Pat plays the farewell track from A New Nowhere, then rambles on religion & burger orders by request, recalls the crazy bus lady, and more.

A New Nowhere

Many thanks to our longtime friends for their final tune! It was an hono(u)r and a privilege to spin your sweet tunes over the years. Best of luck and tons of fun with whatever youse guyses do next!

Mail: Thoughts on religion?

I love that this person made me get real immediately after an office month and made fun of me for forgetting their name. Top-notch work, L! Look pals, I don't really mind if you're super religious. You do whatever makes you happy. But please do not try to push it on others and/or make them also live by your system. Your religion is for you, not everyone else.

Mail: Burger orders

I don't know that our friend expected both of these letters to be included in the same episode, but I am glad I did it this way. I love fast food - both talking about it and eating it. Weigh in, my friends! You're close to McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's at dinner time with enough money for a full meal: What's the order and from where?

Crazy bus lady

Oh, General Crazy Lady. You, even all these years later, still bring a chuckle to me. I don't know why you always felt compelled to chat with me, or why you think you're a general, but in a way I am glad we crossed paths. I hope your brain is still firing off nuggets of wisdom to many more unsuspecting victims.

🚍

And that, as we say, is that! Thank you for joining me once again. Next week, we have a guest - we recorded a wonderful chat yesterday afternoon - so come on back for that. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
