Show notes - Episode 127: It's Just Me and My TV

Hi, friends!

This week's show is a bit different, but it still makes the same amount of sense as my usual ramblings. So let's get down to the stuff!

So Jill and I don't actually know when our new podcast will begin, but it will be sometime this spring and we are excited! We do have quite a list of shows, but always welcome suggestions - send them here!

Speaking of TV, I do want to get back to watching and talking about more pilots. I realize it's unfair to judge an entire series based on one episode, but that one should at least hook me enough to watch the next. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - but I do always enjoy seeing new things!

One thing I most definitely do not enjoy seeing, though, is your weird ultrasound photos. I get that you're excited - I am also for you - but these grainy photos creep me the *coin* out and please stop shoving them in my face via the world wide web of yuck. Thank you, love you!

Our tune this week comes from our friends, Much Better. You can get this sweet EP, Much Cooler, on bandcamp - and bug them to release that full album already!

I know I got a bit deep after this sweet tune, but I felt okay about it. It took me a long time to realize that my show will change based on your feedback (and/or my tough self-critiques), and not on how many downloads I get. Putting that into the podcast-verse helps me remember that - and maybe it will help curb some of the wonderful advice I get. (I'm kidding, of course, all feedback is appreciated!)

And if I can be a crotchety old man for a minute: do we not play games together in the same room anymore? I got a sweet James Bond game for PS3 that only has online multiplayer. If any game should come with local multiplayer standard - IT'S A JAMES BOND GAME. I don't know how we got away from hanging out with your buddies and being able to physically sabotage them so you win, but I think we need to trend back toward that. Who's with me?

Well, I feel better now. I hope you enjoyed 40 minutes of my head space, and that you'll come back for the normal stuff next time! Thanks for doing the thing!

Easily the creepiest item I've ever sold

Crap open a cold one!
