Show notes - Episode 246: TV Tricks with NASA and Charles

Morning, friends!

I once again recorded an episode on my lunch break, and I have to say that I enjoy the condensed format - especially because it takes me so much less time to edit. We did some rambling on NASA and TV tropes, played a song from shallow pools, and more. Here we go!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat rambles on our TV tropes (2:45), a parallel universe (11:14), trickery at Chuck E. Cheese (13:58), advice for TV writers (16:15), and plays a tune from shallow pools (20:14)!

TV tropes

I'm glad other people get miffed at fictional characters like I do. It makes me feel a little less wacky. Directors, writers, whoever is in charge of this: make sure people close the door!

NASA discovery

I know I didn't do a good job explaining this, but NASA either made a big discovery, or someone flubbed big time. Who knows? Not me, that's for sure!

Charles Entertainment Cheese

He got us again, friends! He's using Pasqually as a pawn to trick us - and we can't even play Skee Ball!

TV advice

The zoom meetings with your kid yelling behind you will not be as funny as you think if you made it into a show. Avoid!

shallow pools

Thanks to our friends, shallow pools, for the sweet tune! I know I am late enough on this that they released another by now, but that just means they'll be featured again soon! Go get the thing!

And that's that, friends! We did the thing! Thanks for joining me as always, and let me know if I should keep doing shorter episodes while I'm working from home.

Or don't. It's all good (no one reads these). Until next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
