Show notes - Episode 371: Plant Yourself at Home

Morning, friends!

What I'd like to start doing is coming back to the show on Fridays to ramble on sports so that part is more timely. I did not have time for that this week so non-sports people are [mostly] spared. We get music from new friends, weird trainings, and more though so let's go!

Pat rambles on improving cities (3:00), being put on the spot (8:51), companies getting desperate (17:41), sports he's watching (24:28), and plays music from Megawave (30:27).

🌳

Trees

Every city needs more trees, but specifically the city I live in and walk around a lot. Let's go with the nature, people!

Ice breakers

I'm sure I've talked about this before, but this time I have a positive point to make. I love that I did not have to read out loud or say anything and I think every training should be run this way.

Back to the office - for booze?

This so dumb. Don't go back to your office just for free booze. I promise it won't be worth it. Also if someone doesn't want a work party? DON'T THROW ONE ANYWAY. (Here is the link to that story - happy that the guy got money!)

NBA and the Phillies

The Sixers have looked good. The Phillies have not. What a time to be a fan. I hope your teams are faring better or worse, and that your least-favorites lose (unless they are teams I like). Sports!

Megawave

Many thanks to Megawave - and I'm sorry I really botched your intro. But I made up for it with the riff, right? Right? No? Okay, I'll do better next time. Anyway, go check them out here and catch their Twitch streams on Wednesdays! (Also here's the piece I mentioned that good friend of the show, Hope Vista, wrote!)

🎸

And that's that, pals! We did another thing! Thanks for joining me once again. I hope you are well and that everything you need to do gets done. I don't know what's what for next week, so come on back and we can figure it out together. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
