A day at the mall
It was so nice to be at a mall with stores and shoppers in it after three ghost towns in a row. It was also nice to see our dear friend, Maggie, because she is lovely and the boy loves to see her. And also also! It felt good to have that kid's party well-attended. Just winning all around!
Dumb Internet post: saving leftovers
I know it's the Internet, but I still get surprised when I see people post the absolute dumbest observations. Even if only broke people save leftovers - so what? Can I have your leftovers too since you don't want them? I'll feed everybody. These people need to cut their teeth in smaller communities so they can be shamed before sharing such nonsense.
AMC half-price Wednesdays
This is a solid idea - a rarity from a corporation! I'm not a big moviegoer, but I do miss movie theater snacks. So maybe I need to take a half day this summer to see whatever is playing and get some nachos. Woooo discounts!
Pop Tarts ice cream
I wish these sweet treats were available at a place other than Walmart because I do not shop there. Someone who does: get me a box of these and let's enjoy them together. And let's all keep an eye out for the ice cream pints. Ol Pat needs that S'mores flavor!
