Show notes - Episode 532: Please Don't Cut Chuck's Cheese

Morning, friends!

I got lucky that work let us go early today (Friday) because I would not have had a ton of time to do this otherwise. We played new music from new friends, rambled on life happenings, and answered some questions. Let's get to it!

Pat plays new music from Little Us (5:21), then rambles on feedback from bands (10:17), getting a new phone (14:46), visiting Charles Entertainment Cheese (25:26), cutting conversations (38:19), and possibly going viral (44:43).

Little Us

Thanks to our new friends for the tune! Find more from them here and get Won't Be Long here! (And don't tell them about the other thing...)

Band feedback

I never know if a band is going to listen when I feature their music on the podcast. It is wonderful when they do, and even more wonderful when they share that they do with their fans. I have no idea if that leads to more listeners, but it's just nice to know that someone is paying attention and cares enough to make me aware.

New phone, who dis?

We got new phones and I think I have figured out all that I need to keep doing things (there are at least two issues I'd like to fix, but they're not urgent). Shout out to the salesperson who was trying very hard to upsell us on things we don't need. Sorry we didn't get you credit for two new lines.

Charles Entertainment Cheese

I had not been to Chuck's house in many years, but it is still as wild as I remember. I do wish the adults in the room would actually act like adults. I can understand a sugared up 5-year-old not paying attention, but you're 33 and you need to get it together. Also I miss the physical tickets when you win! I need to brag to someone!

Mail: Do you edit interviews if guests ask?

Yes, I do edit out whatever guests ask (and thank you for asking). Bottom line: While it is my show, the chat is more about the guest(s). So if they don't want a part of that to go out, it doesn't go out. Simple as that.

Mail: Have you thought about trying to go viral?

I probably phrased the question wrong there, but I'm short on time so I am sorry. But no, I have not put real thought into going viral. I have thought about what that might be like, but I have taken zero steps toward that path. It's just not an item on my list.

📬

And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for coming along today! Next week we should have a guest, so come on back to make sure I didn't embarrass myself. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
