Show notes - Episode 551: Spinning for Service

Morning, friends!

And here we are: the last episode before I start my office rotation on Monday. So after this, you get Pat from a few months ago. But today? New music from Wave Break, kind of a pair of patpeeves, and a surprise after the credits. Let's do it!

Pat plays new music from Wave Break (4:36), then rambles on too many ads (8:41), poor customer service (26:28), MLB playoffs (37:52), and more.

Thanks to our friends for the new tune! Get Spinning Out here and go see them at House of Independents in Asbury Park, NJ on November 12!

So. Many. Ads.

I get that corporations exist to make money. But I feel like ads on refrigerators is a step too far. Track your groceries so you don't run out? Fine thing to have on the screen. But having to wait or cycle through any ads during that process is capitalist bullshit. Enough already!

Lazy Customer Service

Thanks to my smokin hot wife for this story. It is wild to me that people whose job is to assist customers to everything but that. Standing behind a counter without speaking does not count as doing your job when you're a front-facing employee. Let the people know what's what so they can get on their way and you can get back to your nothing.

MLB Playoffs

Welp! The Guardians and Red Sox lost. The Padres did too (then they got into it with the umpires afterward). So our updated bracket looks like this. Go Phils!

And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for coming along this week! The next batch of shows are in the can (except for the Halloween show, which is being recorded by my smokin hot wife on October 14), so have fun with the me from a few months ago. Until whenever you return, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
