I love when people write in, because I get to rant and ramble about what you want (and I don't have to think about topics, which rules). So here we go with two stories from you!
Thanks to a listener, Pat rambles on unsolicited advice at work and leaving your tardy friends behind, before getting a Flyers Update from The Captain.

Unsolicited advice
First, thanks to the good chap who sent this along. I love reading stories like this (or most stories from you, really). But guy: you should have stopped after the first negative reaction. You don't get to plow through obvious discomfort and cry foul when you're called on it. And second? Thanks to The Captain for being a good sport later in the show!
Leaving your friends
Look, we all run late for one reason or another. Life happens, whether to us or around us. But we have technology now. We can let our friends know what's what in literal seconds. Saying "on our way" means nothing. Not offering any other updates is a dick move. Getting mad when your supposed friend left after waiting so long is also bad. These inconsiderate friends went 0-2 here. Just let people know what your ETA is so they don't worry that something awful happened. It is the bare minimum here. Get to it!

And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for writing in, everyone! Next week, we have a pair of dumb internet posts about blaming the school and unmatching on a dating site over a library card. That was a fun one to put together, so come on back to hear it. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
