Social media censorship
I know I brought this up on a different platform, but it still bothers me. Why have we let these Puritan tech dorks decided what we can and cannot discuss online? Censoring the Internet "for the children" will only create weird ass adults who don't know what words mean. I hate it here.
Turtle Smuggling
Thank you for bringing up this story from many moons ago. This whole thing was wild, and yes I do think about it from time to time. I do hope this guy got some help, or found another way to make money, because that path seems unwise. Though I still maintain he could have gotten away with it if he was wearing cargo pants instead of taping the turtles inside his sweats (come on, man!).
Company towns
Thanks for the email, Jimmy from Mayfair! I love the idea of an apartment complex that has more amenities than a mediocre gym and pool with green water. But your Facebook townies were mistaken: that is not what a company town is. I imagine those people have strong opinions about the world outside of their town (which they have never seen), so this confusion does not surprise me one bit.
