Welcome, friend! Here you can read my rants and raves about stupid shoppers, video games, sports, and other stuff! Be sure to check out my podcast every Saturday on The Next Level Network! Support the show here!
I realize that this could have been the question for the Mother's Day week show, but I didn't think of it then, so here it is now. Choose your favorite and let's have some fun - bonus points for explanations (in this case: what makes her so great/what she brings to the show) as always. And yes, it can be a cartoon mom!
Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 28 at 5PM ET - leave them here or as a voicemail at 209-867-7638! Woooo!
I just remembered that I mentioned this on the show a week or two ago, so here's that thing. As far as this question goes, "books" can be novels, manga, comics - whichever continuous story [that feels like the right term] really grabs you. (Please don't just say Batman, narrow it to The Batman Chronicles or something like that.)
Leave your answers in the comments (bonus points for explanations, as always) and have some fun - deadline for submissions is Friday, June 21 at 5PM! Woooo!
I've teased a thing happening on the show a few times, and decided to write it rather than yell about it (mainly because I have thin walls and my neighbor would hear me yelling about him). So here we go!
Some of you (i.e. you who subscribe and don't listen from social media) will be able to listen a day early. Jill and I will be at Wizard World Philadelphia today, so I wanted to make sure the show was up before we got out the door. It's a bit of a shorter episode, but I got to talk about an epic rumble and superheroes! Yeah!
We did a lot today, even after my big edit, and I think this may have been the longest I went before "officially" starting the episode. I'll try to do better on that front - maybe. I am of course short on time, so let's get to it!
This week, let's talk about games! I realize this may not apply to everyone, but feel free to weigh in with answers like: "that one with the flying heads" or something and I'll spend several on-air minutes trying to figure out what you mean.
Deadline for responses this week is Wednesday at 5PM ET (ol Pat has stuff to do) so leave em here or at 209-867-7638 and let's have some fun!
